Chris P. (Bhagat Singh)

He is an explorer of sacred traditions, a conduit for teachings, an ethusiologist and studied in entheogens. A devotee of Hanuman and a neo-charismatic teacher, he is versed in exploring both the light and the shadow in order to liberate and elevate spirits.

Come to a Chrispy class if you're looking for something loud and challenging that will wring the nectar from your body. The challenge will be a supportive one; all are welcome, if you can check your ego at the door and focus on your mat and movement. The atmosphere, the teacher: part William Blake, part Billy Sunday- Poetry Slam with Atticus Finch, white warlock, Ordained Rector and humble servant. Chrispy rolls-holy and will shake the tent during the revival, because this practice is worth getting that involved and engaged in!

To maintain good traction during a flow practice, Chris recommends using a Yogi Toes towel. "When you get into Vinyasa, the nectar will flow, you'll sweat, and Yogi-Toes keep you from slipping off your mat! How else are you going to flow in that nectar without worrying about slipping?"

Festival Presentation: "Celebrate the Sun – Salutations for Everyone!"

An introduction and exploration of Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutations.

Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutations are one of the most primordial of all yoga practices. Some would say the ‘entirity of the asana practice’ is held within this elegant sequence of postures.

As the basis of all of the flow practices, and even as Yogi Bhajan’s first Kriya, Sun Salutations are universal and create commonality within all of our practices.

From your first day on the mat, to your 10,000th practice, there is always something to be learned, wisdom to gain, and refinement to practice within these easy, linked movement. We’ll break each piece down, into it’s base elements.

Everyone will be served, no effort on the path is wasted. Please come celebrate the sun, both the one inside of you, and the one that shines eternally.
